Located in Northern San Diego County, San Elijo State Beach (campground) is a great location along the Southern California coast where swimming, surfing, camping and picnicking are just a few of the activities you can enjoy. The campground is located along the bluff and many of the camping spots have uninterrupted views of the Pacific Ocean. Access to the beach is by wooden stair cases which drop you directly on the beach from the campground. There is a store and snack shop which has a fantastic view of the beach below. The beach offers day use as well as camping up to 30 days. Nearby towns are Cardiff-by-the-Sea and Encinitas with it's famous Moonlight Beach.
