  1. Lori Profitt says:

Is a beautiful park, we are talking about going back to stay a weekend with family

  2. Michael Rutledge says:

Out of the way, a lot of locals. Easy access to river. Overall a nice family park. Been here several times, Someone always comes home with a tick. lol

  3. Kathy Shouse says:

This is our favorite state park. We camp here several times a year. The deer come right up to our RV looking for food. So friendly. We’ve seen as many as 15 at a time. The bathrooms, although old, are kept nice and clean. They rent out canoes and kayaks at the concession stand. BBQ chicken, pork and ribs are awesome at the concession stand also.

  4. John Gwin says:

Plenty of manatee, gators, deer, racoon and squirrels. Convenient to Chiefland shopping. Firewood delivered to your site for a $7.00 ‘donation’. Spotty cell service. Spent a week in January ’19, going back for January ’20.

  5. Victor Lyons says:

Go at least 3 to 4 times a year
The only park i want and will stay at. Clean restrooms!
