Rogue Elk Campground is a Jackson County Park facility and has 40 single-family campsites along the upper Rogue River. Many sites are river front and there are 16 RV sites with water/electric hookups available. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers ($), trash collection, a picnic area, playground, 2-lane boat ramp and an RV dump station. Firewood is also available for sale at the campground. Cell service is good in the area.

Rogue Elk Area Recreation

Outdoor recreation includes fishing, rafting, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, picnicking, hiking and biking. Wildlife viewing is also nice here. The campground is usually open mid March through October. The day use and boat ramp is open year round. Lost Creek Lake is also just a few miles away.

Other campgrounds in the area include Farewell Bend, Hamaker, Mazama and Lost Creek (Crater Lake). Valley of the Rogue State Park is also nice.
