Mahogany Grove Group, NV

Mahogany Grove Campground has 6 nice group campsites in the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area at an elevation of 8,400 feet. It’s also a 45 minute drive from Las Vegas. The campground was originally one of the Civilian Conversation Corps (CCC) developed campgrounds from the 1930s. The group campsites are for tent camping. Vehicles up to 15 feet. Each group site also has a large parking area, tables, a fire ring BBQ grills, water and a vault toilet nearby. Each group site also has 6-7 tent pads.

Upper Pahranagat Lake, NV

Upper Pahranagat Lake Campground is located in the Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge and has 15 (free) campsites located along the shoreline of Upper Lake. The rustic/primitive campground is open year-round. All campsites are first-come, first serve. The campsites are generally spread out (except sites 13 to 15) and can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs.

Echo Canyon State Park, NV

Echo Canyon State Park has about 54 campsites and is located near to Echo Canyon Reservoir in a high-desert area of Eastern Nevada. The North Campground has 33 campsites with water hookups and the RV loop has 20 full hookup sites. Group camping is also available. There are also a few tent only campsites (first-come, first-serve) in RV loop.

Spring Valley State Park, NV

Spring Valley State Park has 2 campgrounds with a total of 46 campsites (24 with power hookups) near Eagle Valley Reservoir in eastern Nevada.

Horsethief Gulch Campground is just west of the reservoir and near the dam. It has 39 spacious campsites (24 with power hookups: 1-14 and 30-39). Ranch Campground has 7 campsites and is nestled in a beautiful canyon with light-gray, pink and white cliffs. It’s also near the ranger station and Meadow Valley Wash.

Park amenities include a potable (drinking) water, flush and vault toilets, trash collection, a nearby dump station, boat launch (south shore), dock, boat slips, picnic/day-use area, a reservable group picnic area, hiking trails and a ranger station. Cell service is not available in the area.
