If you couldn’t tell already, we love summer here at CampsitePhotos.com. To us, summer means camping, and camping goes hand-in-hand with hiking, white-water rafting, exploring/geocaching and campfires. And it’s relatively cheap, so why not?
In summer 2010, we added 36 new campsites as part of our Summer of Campgrounds.
For summer 2011, we (thanks to our photographer Greg) took you along on a photo trip from July through August as we shot photos of campsites in Utah and Colorado, two states that we’ve been trying to get more campsite photos of. The response from you all on Facebook, Twitter and even here on the site has been fantastic, so much so that we’re already thinking about another trip – more to come on that later. For now, we’re hard at work getting the campsites we visited added to the site; stay tuned for the links or browse through the pictures we have up by campsite below:
If you’re interested in hearing when we go on our next trip, follow us on Facebook or Twitter for the latest news on campsites we’re adding or special trips/photos we take. See you there!
Regards, Park Ranger
