If you’re thinking about doing some Kansas camping this year then try out one of the state’s premier state parks – Perry State Park. We have recently added all campsite photos and camping information for the park so you can check it out! Perry State Park is on the southwestern shores of Perry Reservoir allowing for some peaceful and quiet camping, boating, fishing, mountain biking, hiking and horseback riding on its miles of trails. This is a prime location for fishing and has become a routine stop for bird lovers.
The campgrounds (there are 11 of them) have recently been updated and now offer 110 electric and water utility campsites along with four rental cabins. Perry State Park has two boat ramps that include courtesy docks, five shower houses, two dump stations, and a fish cleaning station. In addition to camping, Perry State Park has many outdoor recreational opportunities including boating, fishing, water sports, hiking, horseback riding, birding and hunting (license required). Perry State Park also has over 15 miles of popular mountain biking trails and 25 miles of horse trails.
Perry State Park is open to visitors all year round, but camping is only from March 1 through November 30. Start planning your trip today!
Best Regards,
Camp Ranger
