Reyes Creek Campground has 27 spacious campsites next to the creek in a scenic canyon near the Sespe Wilderness of Los Padres National Forest. There are 26 single-family campsites (1 vehicle and 6 people per site) and 1 group site (10 vehicles and 40 people).
Several campsites are located along the creek and have nice shade from oak and cottonwood trees. Other campsites are more in the open with limited to no shade. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a parking spur (20 to 30 feet), table, fire ring and grill. RVs over 22 feet are not recommended due to narrow camp roads. Amenities include vault toilets and trash collection. Potable (drinking) water is not available. Cell service is also not available in the area.
Outdoor recreation in the area includes hiking, mountain biking, fishing, hunting, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
Located south of Ozena Valley, this campground provides access to the Sespe Wilderness via the Reyes Creek Trail linking to the Piedra Blanc National Recreation Trail. This site is the trailhead for Gene Marshall-Piedra Blanca National Recreation Area ideal for hiking or mountain biking.
Other campgrounds in the area include Pine Mountain (15 miles) and Reyes Peak (16 miles). Ballinger (ATV) campground is also 24 miles away.
