How To Create Availability Notifications for a Sold Out Campground
It’s simple to get campsite availability notifications for a sold out campground using Campsite Assist.
Campsite Assist offers the best way to get campsite availability notifications and it’s easy to use. As most people know, the most popular campgrounds sell out within minutes of when reservations become available. Currently (November, 2019) Campsite Assist will scan for campsite availability for all campgrounds on Recration.gov and ReserveCalifornia. It will also add ReserveAmerica and other reservation agencies in the near future.
ReserveCalifornia.com takes reservations for all California State Parks, State Beaches and other California campgrounds.
Recreation.gov handles reservations for thousands of campgrounds throughout the country including at most National Parks, USFS campgrounds and others.
How to use Campsite Assist to get campsite availability notifications for a sold out campground.
Campsite Assist is simple to use and will absolutely notify you if a campsite becomes available for the campground and dates you choose.
- Go to the Campsite Assist page and type in where you want to camp.
- Enter the dates when you’d like to camp.
- Enter your email address and your phone number.
- Select how often you’d like Campsite Assist to scan for availability (every 3 minutes, 13 minutes or 33 minutes). The cost per scan is $15, $10 and $5 respectively. The scan will run until the dates you’ve selected for arrival.
- Pay with your credit card and the scan will start immediately.
If a campsite becomes available during your date range, Campsite Assist will send you a text and also an email so you can try and reserve it.
