A Bigfoot sighting at Carlsbad State Beach near The Camp Store occurred earlier this month. Nobody knows exactly when Bigfoot (aka Big-Goofy-Foot) started hanging out at the popular campground, but a CampsitePhotos.com photographer was able to get some pictures of the giant cryptid. Rumor has it that the Cardiff Kook (over at San Elijo State Beach) is not stoked about Bigfoot snaking his territory.
Cryptozoologist have said that its rare but not unheard of for a Sasquatch to hang near the ocean. And a Bigfoot sighting at South Carlsbad State Beach would be more likely if some tasty waves, an IPA or pizza are nearby. “This is a big cryptid with a big appetite.”
As luck would have it, a CampsitePhotos.com photographer was able to take these pictures. You can also see a short Bigfoot video our on our YouTube channel.
Locals are already planning to set up a surf competition between Goofy-Foot and the Cardiff Kook. Legendary surfers Mark “Cutback” Davis and Bob “Jungle Vet” Gerard are also behind the effort.
