In 2022 there will be 5 National Park free admission days. Visitors can take their pick from any National Park or Monument in the U.S. The free admission is open to all visitors, which can cost as much as $35 per vehicle.
Keep in mind that the free admission policy will not cover fees related to camping, boating, shuttles, tours, and other activities.
Whether you plan on visiting on one of the free days or any other day, you should plan well in advance. Many National Parks also require you to make a reservation to enter the park. Park entry reservations are $2 and can be made at recreation.gov.
