Mussel Beach Campground Campground

Mussel Beach Campground Overview

Mussel 5

Welcome to the natural beauty and tranquility of Vancouver Islands west coast. Getting back to nature at Mussel Beach Wilderness Campground is a rejuvenating experience for all.

Our campground offers year round outdoor adventure at your door step! See soaring eagles and seabirds, black bears, sea lions, seals, botanical tidal pools teeming with sea life and of course mussels by the millions.

And the activities are endless – beach caving, whale watching (March to October), beach combing, kayaking, photography, world class winter surfing, hiking, swimming and much more.

Mussel Beach Campground is located on 153 acres, on the North side of Barkley Sound, with 1.45km. of Oceanfront facing south and east, protected from the north westerly summer winds. It sits between the Long Beach and Broken Islands Group of the Pacific Rim National Park near Ucluelet.
