K’esugi Ken Campground has 42 campsites and is located in the Mat-Su Valley / Copper River Basin. Several campsites have views of the Alaska Range and Denali. There are 32 RV campsites (electric hookups) and 10 walk-in tent campsites.  Three cabins and group campsites are also available.  Most sites are fully ADA compliant.

RV Camp Loop

All sites include either 20, 30, or 50 amp electricity, a picnic table, fireplace and grassy tent-pads. All sites will accommodate at least 75-foot RVs, with 5 pull-through sites that will accommodate up to 100-foot RVs.

Walk-in Tent Camp Loop

Each walk-in tent campsite has a picnic table, food locker, and a grassy tent pad.  Sites 3 through 5 have commanding views of the Alaska Range. Sites 6 through 10 border a ravine and stream. All sites are connected via a network of trails great for walking or riding bikes. Maximum vehicle length is 25 feet due to narrow roads and tight turns.

Group Camping Area

The group camping area is located within the walk-in tent camping loop. It can accommodate large groups of up to 50 people. Tables, a fireplace, vaulted latrine and large grassy tent pad area are also available.

Campground Amenities

The campground has a camp host, drinking water (hand pumps), vaulted latrines. and trash collection. Campground roads are paved. There’s also an interpretive center/pavilion and over 2 miles of walking trails for hiking, biking or cross-country skiing.

Denali State Park is also nearby.
