Bluff Creek Campground has 88 sites with electric and water hookups and is located next to Walter F. George Lake on the Georgia/Alabama border. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (35 to 40 feet). Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate.
Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers ($) and a dump station. There is also a fish cleaning station, laundry facilities and a boat ramp just outside the campground. Cell service is fair in the area.
There are plenty of outdoor recreational opportunities to enjoy at the lake, as well as the Chattahoochee River. This is also known as the “Big Bass Capital of the World,” so grab your pole, and get out there. Other outdoor activities include boating, water skiing, swimming, windsurfing, fishing, hiking, biking, hunting and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also nice here.

Hi Brenda,
CampsitePhotos.com is not associated with the reservation agencies. We provide a link to the Bluff Creek reservation website. You’ll need to reach out to Recreation.gov about why your request wouldn’t transfer to the cart.
e tried to reserve a site and the campground was supposedly full. we stayed at florence marina and rode by bluff creek by boat ‘.the campground was empty.why is the campground closed?
Could be because of Covid-19 restrictions.
Great clean friendly place to camp. Stayed 5 days enjoyed the lot 55
Going back for Labor Day for a week .
Reserved lot 58 this time. Please at the entrance of lot 58 limbs are low we’re you back in. Need to trim them. We are 12ft 6 in high.
If not we have to go besides in the grass and jack it in to get to pad.
This camp ground is ran by people who live on it. They say their full but they aren’t. They only want their friends in there. Can’t launch a boat from there not even a kayak because they keep the gate closed. Something needs to be done about this clut of people who supposedly manage this campsite. Tax payers should be able to use this facility.
