Hardridge Creek Campground has 77 single-family and has some sweet real estate on Walter F. George Lake with the Chattahoochee River nearby. This is a favorite throw down for anglers and outdoor enthusiasts.
The campground is open March 1 to mid September (closed mid September to the end of February) and campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. There are 57 sites with electric and water hookups, and 20 sites with full hookups. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grill.
Campground amenities include drinking water, a dump station, laundry facilities, 2 bathhouses with showers, trash collection, a boat ramp, and a pay phone. Cell service is also good in the area.
Outdoor recreation includes boating, fishing, water sports, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, hiking and biking. Wildlife viewing is also nice here.
White Oak Creek Park Campground is also located on Walter F. George Lake and has 130 campsites with water/electric hookups.

It would be nice on your beautiful postings , if you would enclose Opening Date for business, and boat ramp opening date. Most fisherman have boats.
Thanks and a good idea Teddy! We will do some research and see if we can find those opening dates. We did update that campground open/closing dates.
Some of us enjoy camping in the fall. Everyone knows our fall weather is later than most areas. It’s a shame such a beautiful park is not open to campers in the fall.
