Bidwell Point Park Overview

Bidwell Point Park Campground has 49 campsites (water & electric hookups) on the tip of a peninsula next to the beautiful clear waters of Norfork Lake. Most also have spectacular views of the lake and several are waterfront.

The campground is generally open early April to late October. Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers, trash collection and a dump station. There’s also a playground, swim beach and boat launch/ramp next to the campground. Cell service is good in the area.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. All campsites have water and electric hookups. Each site also has a parking spur, table, lantern pole, fire ring and grill.

Other campgrounds in the area include Henderson Park, Panther Bay Park, Robinson Point, Gamaliel, Cranfield Park and Dam-Quarry.

Bidwell Point Park – Area Recreation & Activities

The area is renowned for its world-class trout fishing and Norfork Lake offers a variety of water sports fun including water skiing, swimming, paddle-boarding, kayaking, scuba diving and fishing. Other activities include hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Norfork Lake covers 22,000 acres with 550 miles of shoreline. Densely wooded hills and hollows surround the lake in the Ozark Mountains. The North Fork River feeds into the lake, and beyond the dam, extends on to connect with the White River.
