Blanchard Springs Recreation Area Overview

Blanchard Springs Recreation Area campground has 32 campsites and 2 group camps located along North Sycamore Creek in the Ozark National Forest. Mirror Lake is also nearby.

Most campsites can be reserved, but 9 sites are held as first-come, first-serve. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilers, hot showers, trash collection and an RV dump station. There’s also a picnic area and amphitheater. Cell service is not available in the area.

Blanchard Springs Recreation Area

The campground offers a nice basecamp to explore the Ozark National Forest. Outdoor activities include hiking, biking, picnicking, horseback riding, boating, fishing and wildlife viewing. Blanchard Springs Caverns is also located close by where visitors can enjoy float fishing and canoeing on the Buffalo and White Rivers.
