Cane Creek State Park is located just outside of Star City and has 29 campsites in a forested area next to Cane Creek Lake. the park is also on the border of the West Gulf Coastal Plain and the Mississippi Alluvial Plain (aka “The Delta”).
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site electric and water hookups, a parking spur, table, fire ring and grill. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot-water showers, trash collection and a dump station. There’s also a boat ramp, visitor center, picnic area/pavilions, camp store/gift shop and playground. Cell service is fair in the area.
Outdoor recreation includes fishing, boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle-boarding, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Visitors can also go on guided walking, biking, kayaking and birding tours. Boat and bike rentals are available.
