Cherokee Park Campground is located next to the Arkansas River (near Morrilton) and has 35 campsites with water & electric hookups. Most sites are large with paved parking spurs ranging from 40 to 50 feet. Campsites also have a table, fire ring and grill.

Park/Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot-water showers, trash collection and a dump station. There’s also a boat ramp, dock and playground.

Petit Jean State Park is nearby, and you may also like Toad Suck Park or Maumelle Park.

Cherokee Park – Area Recreation and Activities

Outdoor recreation includes boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle-boarding, fishing, swimming, water sports, hiking, biking and picnicking. Wildlife viewing can also be good.
