Gulpha Gorge campground has 43 full hookup campsites (30 and 50 amp) and is located in Hot Springs National Park. The campground has drinking water, modern restrooms with flush toilets, a sanitation dump station, but no showers.
Campsite can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs.Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grill. Campers can stay at Gulpha Gorge Campground for up to 14 days per calendar year. Pets are allowed on leash.
Of course the big attraction at Hot Springs National Park are those delightful soothing thermal waters. The hot springs have been used by native Americans, settlers and modern day folk for hundreds of years. Today, you can take a dip at the Buckstaff Bathouse (first-come, first-serve), or have one of those fancier modes spa experiences at the Quapaw Baths & Spa (reservations required). At the Park you can also tour some of the historic sites and bathhouses, picnic, hike and bike.
Keep in mind that Hot Springs National Park is in an urban area, surrounding the north end of the city of Hot Springs. The hot springs only emerge in the Bathhouse Row area downtown because the town grew around the hot springs.

A favorite. Beautiful wooded setting on a creek. Full hookups. No reservations. Not a bad site to be had. Minutes from Hot Springs.
Do you have a senior rate for staying at your compground?
Hi Mark,
Gulpha Gorge should have a senior rate, but you should probably call the campground directly to confirm at:(501) 620-6715.
FYI – all sites are first-come, first-serve.
They do. Currently (Oct. 2020) payment is done through an automated kiosk that accepts only debit/credit cards. It will ask you if you are eligible for the senior rate, which includes anyone holding the Senior/Access/Lifetime passes, and you can make that selection. With the 50% discount, sites are $15/night.
To get a senior discount you must have the national park senior access card.
Starting Feb. 1st 2022 the Gulpha Gorge Campground is taking camping reservation at, reservation.gov. This is a beautiful campground, very peaceful, sometimes the road noise is a bit loud but otherwise one of our favorites.
Thanks David!
Appreciate the update that Gulpha Gorge now takes reservations. We’ve updated our campground page.
