Heber Springs Campground Greers Ferry Lake Arkansas

Heber Springs Overview

Heber Springs Campground has 118 spacious campsites in a forested area along Greers Ferry Lake shoreline and adjacent to Heber Springs, AR. A dense mix of red cedar, black gum, red oak, elm, pecan and sweet gum trees forest the area. The trees also provide nice shade in the summer months and beautiful fall colors in autumn.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. There are 98 campsites with electric hookups. Each site also has a paved parking spur, table, BBQ pedestal, fire ring and grill.

The campground is generally open mid March to late October. Amenities include drinking water, vault and flush toilets, hot-water showers, trash collection and a dump station. The campground/park also has a marina, boat ramp, boat trail lot, picnic area/playground and swim area. Firewood is available to purchase from the camp host. Cell service is good in the area.

Other campgrounds in the area include Narrows, Devils Fork, Hill Creek, Shiloh, Old Highway 25, Sugar Loaf, Dam Site (Greers Ferry) and John F. Kennedy Park.

Heber Springs Campground – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, fishing, swimming, water sports, scuba diving, hiking, biking and picnicking (2 group shelters available to reserve). Wildlife is also great with opportunities to see white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, rabbits, squirrels and a wide variety of birds.
