Henderson Park Overview

Henderson Park Campground has 36 campsites next to the beautiful clear waters of Norfork Lake. Most have spectacular views of the lake. All campsites have electric hookups and water is available to fill holding tanks. Each site also has a parking spur, table, lantern pole, fire ring and grill.

The campground is generally open early May to late September. Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, trash collection and a dump station. There’s also a marina and boat launch/ramp next to the campground. Cell service is good in the area.

Other campgrounds in the area include Bidwell Point Park, Panther Bay Park, Robinson Point, Gamaliel, Cranfield Park and Dam-Quarry.

Henderson Park – Area Recreation & Activities

The area is renowned for its world-class trout fishing and Norfork Lake offers a variety of water sports fun including water skiing, swimming, paddle-boarding, kayaking, scuba diving and fishing. Other activities include hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Norfork Lake covers 22,000 acres with 550 miles of shoreline. Densely wooded hills and hollows surround the lake in the Ozark Mountains. The North Fork River feeds into the lake, and beyond the dam, extends on to connect with the White River.
