Lake Catherine State Park Overview

Lake Catherine State Park has 77 spacious campsites in a forested area on the shores of Lake Catherine in the beautiful Ouachita Mountain Region. It is also eight miles southeast of Hot Springs, AR.

The campground has 70 developed sites (47 with full hookups and 23 with water and electric), 6 primitive tent-only sites and 1 yurt.  Many of these sites are on the lakeshore. There are also 20 fully equipped cabins available to rent.  Each of the developed campsite also have a table, fire ring and grill.

The campground is open year round. Amenities include drinking water, modern restrooms, showers, trash collection and a dump station. There’s also a full-service marina, marina store, boat launch/ramp, boat trailer parking, picnic area, playgrounds and group pavilion.

Lake Catherine State Park – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, fishing, swimming, water sports, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, biking, horseback riding and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also good in he area.
