Narrows Campground has 60 campsites (with electric hookups) and is located near the center of Greers Ferry Lake in the beautiful Ozark Mountains. A dense mix of red cedar, black gum, red oak, elm, pecan and sweet gum trees forest the area, providing shade in the summer months and beautiful fall colors in autumn.
The campground is generally open mid May to mid September. Amenities include drinking water, vault and flush toilets, hot-water showers, trash collection and a dump station. There is also a boat ramp, boat trailer lot, picnic area and marina. Cell service is fair in the area. Firewood is also available to be purchased from the camp host.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site has electric hookups, a paved parking spur, table, fire ring and grill.
Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, water sports, swimming, hiking, biking and picnicking. Wildlife is also plentiful around Greers Ferry Lake. Visitors commonly see white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, rabbits, squirrels and a wide variety of birds.
Other campgrounds in the area include Devils Fork, Shiloh, Hill Creek, Sugar Loaf, Heber Springs, Old Highway 25, Choctaw and Dam Site (Greers Ferry).
