Panther Bay Park Campground has 15 spacious campsites (with electric hookups) next to the shoreline of Norfork Lake and between the Highway 62 and 101 bridges.
The campground is generally open early May to Late October. Amenities include drinking water (water fill up for RVs available), flush toilets, hot-water showers and trash collection. There’s also a marina, boat ramp and boat trailer park nearby. Cell service is good in the area.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a paved parking spur (ranging in size from 35 to 65 feet), covered table, lantern post, fire ring and grill.
Other campgrounds in the area include Dam-Quarry, Robinson Point, Henderson Park and Bidwell Point Park.
The area is renowned for its world-class trout fishing and Norfork Lake offers a variety of water sports fun including water skiing, swimming, paddle-boarding, kayaking, scuba diving and fishing. Other activities include hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
Norfork Lake covers 22,000 acres with 550 miles of shoreline. Densely wooded hills and hollows surround the lake in the Ozark Mountains. The North Fork River feeds into the lake, and beyond the dam, extends on to connect with the White River.
