Canyon De Chelly (Cottonwood) Campground is located in the Navajo Nation and has about 90 individual campsites and 2 group tent sites. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has parking space, picnic table, fire ring and grill.
Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets and a dump station. Limited services are available during winter months.

The Monument includes spectacular canyons and incredible cliff-dwelling ruins that was home to one of the longest continuously inhabited landscapes of North America. Experts estimate that Ancient Puebloans planted crops and raised families more than 5,000 years ago.
Canyon de Chelly National Monument has a visitor center, park store, miles of hiking trails, ranger led programs, canyon tours and scenic drives. Other outdoor recreation includes hiking, mountain biking, picnicking, stargazing and wildlife viewing.
