Clints Well Overview
Clints Well Campground is first-come, first-serve and has 7 campsites for small RVs (up to 22 feet), trailers and tents. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grill.
The campground is located just off the highway and has plenty of tall, old growth Ponderosa trees. Although open year round (because of it’s easy access from the highway), the campground may be covered in snow and impassable during the winter. Group camping is also available (8 people). There is no water at this campground.
Other campgrounds in the area include Rock Crossing and Moqui Group.
Clints Well – Area Recreation
Clints Well Campground is a short drive to the scenic Mogollon Rim, the two thousand foot drop-off that marks the southern limit of the Colorado Plateau. Also within easy driving distance are a number of forest lakes known for their excellent fishing. Other outdoor recreation in the area includes hiking, mountain biking, hunting, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
