Homolovi State Park campground has 53 developed, single-family campsites and most have electric and water hookups. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 83 feet). There are ten campsites with tent pads. Campsites 7, 14, 16, 40, 41, 42, 44 and 46 are non-electric. There are a few trees planted around the campsites, but few offer much shade.
Campground amenities in include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers ($) and a dump station. Each campsite also has a table, grill/fire ring.
Homolovi State Park is located in the high desert (4,900 feet) of Northern Arizona a few miles from Winslow. The featured attraction of the Park includes the ruins of ancestral Anasazi/Hopi Villages. There are plenty of opportunities to hike on established trails throughout the park and enjoy the wildlife, as well as visit the ruins. The Park also has a nice visitor center and museum. Other outdoor activities include hiking, mountain biking, stargazing, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
