Visited Lynx Lake Campground lately? We'd love to hear about your adventure. Did you find us useful? Did we forget something? Anything our community should know before heading out to Lynx Lake?

Hi Tamarah,
You’ll need to call Recreation.gov direct to see if there are any sites available next to the restrooms for when you want to stay at Lynx Lake. The phone number is: 877-444-6777. Be sure to have your reservation confirmation number.
I have an annual national parks ..does that cover lynx campground and if so is there a discount for overnight camping? We visited the lake yesterday and it is very nice and clean so we want to go camping but all sites were full
Hi Carmen,
The Annual National Park pass will give you admission into any National Park from the 12 months of when you purchased it. Lynx Lake campground is not in a National Park, so you don’t need it to enter the campground, but you do need to get a reservation for a campsite. Click on the ‘Make A Reservation’ button to check availability, pricing and make a reservation.
Are there any site with electricity hookups? Can generators be used and is there a quiet time for them?
Hi Shawnise,
There is no dump station or RV hookups at Lynx Lake campground. Quiet hours are 10pm to 6am. Generators are permitted 7am to 9pm.
Will our life time senior pass work at the park? If so are there restrictions?
Barb
Hi Barb,
The Prescott National Forest Pass, Interagency Annual Pass, Interagency Senior and Access Passes, and Every Kid in a Park Pass are valid at all Prescott National Forest standard amenity fee sites (including Lynx Lake campground). The Interagency Annual Pass is valid nation wide at federally operated standard amenity fee sites and also covers entrance fees at National Parks. The Interagency Annual Pass program eliminates the need to purchase separate passes on different National Forests across the nation.
You can click on the ‘Make A Reservation’ button from the Lynx Lake campground page to check availability, pricing and make reservations.
When will Lynxs Lake campground be open for reservations?
Hi Greg,

Hi Toni,
Sorry, we don’t have any photos that show the view from G28 at Lynx Lake. However, the campsites/campground are nice and you should have a great time!
Hi. I have reservation at campsite 33 and on campsite notes, it said it may have upto 13 steps. Is that true? your campsite photo didn’t show that. I may have to move campsite if there are too many steps to the car and back.
Hi Esther, our photo of Lynx Lake campsite #33 is correct, but there is a short hike of about 161 feet (from parking area) according to Recreation.gov.
