Picacho Peak State Park campground has a total of 85 large electric campsites (no water or sewer) for camping in a natural Sonoran Desert setting along Interstate 10 in southern Arizona.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. All sites are all paved and fairly level with back-in and pull-throughs available. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate. Many campsites also have shade ramadas.
Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers and a dump station.
Coudoor recreation in the area includes hiking and mountain biking through varied desert landscape. The unique shape of Picacho Peak (at 3,374 feet) has been a landmark by travelers since prehistoric times. Other outdoor activities include picnicking and wildlife viewing.
