  1. Nice looking campground. Unfortunately we were unable to fit in our site. We had Site 35 booked. There is a large drainage ditch crossing the road just past the side so if you are backing a trailer in, you cannot make the turn. Site length says 30′, and it’s a very long site, but making that corner is going to be tough with a 30′ trailer.

  2. CHERYL HASTIE says:

I stayed at Pine Flat Campground 9/17-9/22/23 in site 6. The campground was nice, clean and well kept. The vault toilets were very clean and not much odor. I wanted site 6 because it was close to the toilets, and I have trouble walking.
The camp hosts were very nice and went above and beyond to help me. The camp stove I brought was broken and had a gas leak, (I hadn’t used it in years and didn’t test it before I packed up), so I cooked my meal over the fire pit. The camp host Harry loaned me one of his Colman camp stoves for the rest of my stay. It’s so nice to see people helping other people. When I needed to buy firewood, the hosts delivered it to my camp site.
I was solo camping in a tent with my dog. I got to meet a few friendly people to visit with, have some nice conversation, and enjoy an evening fire together with a drink and a meal even.
You do hear traffic noise since the campground is right on 89A. But once I get to sleep my ears, I think, just turn off.
It’s a very beautiful area to stay in. Lots of trees and rock cliffs. The nights got cold, and it was warm during the day.
One note says there is fishing, BUT it’s catch and release in that area. I sure wanted some fresh trout to cook.
    Happy camping everyone.
