Austin Creek State Recreation Area -Bullfrog Pond Campground has 24 campsites set in a beautiful forest redwood forest. The campsites are small and accommodate RVs or trailers up to 20 feet in length. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grill. There are vault toilets, but no showers available. Water is available at the campground.
Nearby Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve has 20 miles of trails featuring old growth redwood trees, beautiful meadows and rolling hills. There is also a variety of wildlife to see here so don’t forget to bring your camera. You may see deer, raccoon, fox, skunk, bobcat, wild pigs, blue herons, quail and maybe even a bear or mountain lion.
Wrights Beach Campground in Sonoma Coast State Park is just 18 miles away down by Bodega Bay.
