What a nice, clean campground – beautiful, clear views of the golden California hills and if you have the right spot you can see the San Luis reservoir. They have 150 species of birds that frequent the park. We stayed in October and the weather was lovely – not too hot during the day and nice and cool at night. We had spot 13 near the bathrooms and had that entire part of the campground all to ourselves. There were only three other campers in the entire campground while we were there . I’ve heard that it gets very busy in the summer and very hot though. We will definitely be coming back to this campground and taking some hiking trips and hopefully do some birding while we are there.
Awww I remember this place when I was younger, my uncle n aunt were hosting one time when I came with them. The Delanos … good times and making new friends wit all the campers traveling thru then…
