Belle Campground is open year-round and has 20 campsites set among giant boulders in the beautiful high-desert of Joshua Tree National Park. The campground is another option for climbers that’s a bit closer to Twentynine Palms. Each campsite has a parking pad area (dirt), picnic table, fire ring and grill. The campground does not have water, but you will enjoy the comfort of vault/pit toilets. Belle campground is also first-come, first-serve (no reservations).
Outdoor recreation includes camping, hiking, bouldering, rock climbing, star-gazing, biking and wildlife viewing. You can also explore the many historic sites throughout Joshua Tree National Park.
Other Joshua Tree National Park campgrounds to consider include Ryan, White Tank, Indian Cove, Jumbo Rocks, Hidden Valley, Black Rock Canyon, and Cottonwood.
