Big Meadow Campground has 68 campsites and is located within a beautiful conifer forest and close to a creek in the Stanislaus National Forest. All single-family campsites are first-come, first-serve. Group campsites are also available and can be reserved.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, food storage locker, fire ring and grill. Amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. Firewood is also available to purchase from the camp host. No cell service available.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, hunting, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Boating, fishing and swimming area also available at nearby lakes and reservoirs.

Other campgrounds in the area include Lake Alpine Silver Tip and Stanislaus River.
