Blue Oaks Recreation Area Overview

Blue Oaks Recreation Area has 195 campsites in 4 loops and is located in rolling foothills next to Don Pedro Lake. There are 34 campsites with water & electric hookups (Loop A) and the rest are without hookups. Group camping (for up to 200 people) is also available.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot-water showers an RV dump station and trash collection. There is also overflow parking, a boat ramp, boat trailer lot, picnic / day use area and fish cleaning station. WiFi is also available at the campground entrance. Cell service is fair in the area.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a paved parking spur, table, fire ring and grill. Some of the sites have water views. Double-family campsites are also available.

Other campgrounds at Don Pedro Lake include Fleming Meadows and Moccasin Point.

Don Pedro Lake offers visitors a wide variety of outdoor recreation. Water-related recreation includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, water skiing, jet skiing, windsurfing and sailing. On the land there’s hiking, biking, horseshoes, softball, volleyball, picnicking and also wild life viewing.
