Boulder Oaks Eqst Overview

Boulder Oaks campground may need a little T&C, but the setting along old Highway 80 in the Cleveland National Forest is pretty sweet.  The campground has 16 large equestrian campsites, complete with stalls, a table, fire ring and grate. Most sites also have nice shade from giant oak trees. There are also 17 single family campsites available and these too have shade, a table fire ring and grate.

Campsites can accommodate tents trailers and small RVs. Campground amenities include vault toilets and drinking water. There is also a campground host.

Boulder Oaks – Area Recreation

The Pacific Crest Trails skirts by the campground and there’s also other trails for hikers and horseback riders.  Nearby Kitchen Creek has a few water holes to cool off in the spring and early summer.  Other activities include bike riding and wildlife viewing.
