Camp Richardson Resort – Badgers Den Overview

Camp Richardson Resort Badgers Den Campground has 84 campsites and is located within walking distance of beautiful Lake Tahoe. The campground is generally open late May to Lake October.

Campsites are tent-only and can accommodate either 2 tents/6 people, 4 tents/12 people or 3 tents/18 people. It also has drinking water, flush toilets and hot showers. Each site also has a paved parking spur, table, fire ring/grate and bear-proof storage box. You can also purchase firewood and camping supplies are available for purchase at the camp store.

This is not a pet-friendly resort. Only service dogs accepted.

Camp Richardson Resort – Recreation and Activities

The Resort is on the shore of Lake Tahoe and offers a variety of outdoor recreation and other activities. There’s a beautiful swim beach, marina (with boat, kayak, SUP, SeaDoo and other equipment rentals), general store & deli, restaurant, ice cream parlor, mountain sports shop with bike, snowshoe and cross-country ski rentals, hiking and biking trails. The casino and Heavenly Valley Ski Resort are also a short distance away.

Other campgrounds at the resort include Eagles Nest and RV Village. You might also like Fallen Leaf, Campground By The Lake and Camp Shelly.
