Camp Richardson Resort – Eagles Nest Overview

Camp Richardson Resort Eagles Nest Campground has 31 campsites and is located less than 1/2 mile (within walking distance) from beautiful Lake Tahoe. The campground is generally open late May to Lake October.

The campsites are for tent camping only. There are 25 double-family tent sites for up to 12 people and 6 triple-family tent sites (sites 85-90) for up to 18 people.  Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets and hot showers. Each site also has a paved parking spur, table, fire ring/grate and bear-proof storage box. You can also purchase firewood and camping supplies are available for purchase at the camp store.

This is not a pet-friendly resort. Only service dogs accepted.

Camp Richardson Resort – Recreation and Activities

The Resort is on the shore of Lake Tahoe and offers a variety of outdoor recreation and other activities. There’s a beautiful swim beach, marina (with boat, kayak, SUP, SeaDoo and other equipment rentals), general store & deli, restaurant, ice cream parlor, mountain sports shop with bike, snowshoe and cross-country ski rentals, hiking and biking trails. The casino and Heavenly Valley Ski Resort are also a short distance away.

Other campgrounds at the resort include Badgers Den and RV Village. You might also like Fallen Leaf, Campground By The Lake and Camp Shelly.
