Carnegie State Vehicular Recreation Area includes over 1,300 acres of off-highway vehicle (OHV) recreation and is located in the coastal hills of eastern Alameda and western San Joaquin counties.
The campground has 25 developed campsites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 50 feet). Each site also has a table, shade ramada, fire ring and grill. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot-water showers ($) and trash collection. There’s also a park store (the MotoMart at Carnegie), air stations (western end of park), and a e-motorcycle charging station.
Carnegie SVRA has more than 1,300 acres of riding area for all skill levels, over 80 miles of trails, and is a fun, challenging, and scenic place to ride. There are numerous off-highway opportunities for motorcycles, ATVs, 4x4s, and side-by-sides. The park is characterized by rolling hills, dry rocky washes, and steep, rugged canyons.
