As of summer 2023 these photos are no longer accurate. The USFS has removed/logged the “hazard trees” and many of the campsites are a disaster, lacking clean-up and including broken tables, fire pits and dangerous tree detritus. Much of the site privacy is gone now as well.
Thanks Gwynn,
Hopefully they will clean it up soon. I know the USFS has been cutting back trees and piling up to burn in several campgrounds. We will plan to re-photograph Chapman Creek this fall.
