There were road closures one on our way to Chilao another on our way back down to Big Pines. Where can current closure information be found ? Can I please get a physical address to Chilao visiting center.
Hi Franco,
No physical address is available for Chilao campground, but we do have a general address on the campground page, as well as lat/long coordinates. Your best bet for current road closure status is checking the DMV website.
We go camping in Chilao often since it’s so close to our home in Pasadena. So beautiful over there. Just keep in mind water is not portable.
Thanks Helena! We updated that there is not potable water available.
What time does check-in start for next week, Thursday Aug. 4th?
Thank you
Cathy Howard
Hi Cathy,
