Choinumni Recreation Area Comments & Reviews

Visited today. Can’t wait to set up the travel trailer.
It is a beautiful, unassuming, magical place. Perfect for a wedding by the river, celebrate a birthday with family, or heal that thing that ails you. Choinumni. Just saying the name is magical.
Visited this campground this weekend spent 4 days here at site 64. To say the least one of the worst campgrounds I’ve ever visited ( I’ve been to numerous campgrounds). I’m very disappointed in the staff that are in charge here they do not enforce rules at all. They let everyone do as they please. As to the other campers they’re disrespectful and unmindful of their actions playing loud music at 6 am and until 3 am. Walking right through our campsite unphased to us relaxing and sitting in our own site. Bathrooms are disgustingly dirty no effort to keep them clean whatsoever. The scenery is absolutely beautiful but I would suggest to visit another campground and stay elsewhere. I hope the staff enforced their rules as the actions of other campers ruin people’s trip.
