Cooper Gulch Overview
Cooper Gulch Campground has 5 small campsites and is located on the shores of Lewiston Lake in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. The sites have paved parking spurs and all have easy access to the water.
Campground amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. Campsites are best suited for tent camping but can accommodate small trailers and RVs (up to 16 feet). Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. Cell service is poor.
Other campgrounds in the area include Ackerman, Minersville, Tannery and Bushytail.
Cooper Gulch – Area Recreation & Activities
Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, fishing, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, water sports, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. The historic town of Lewiston is just a few miles away. You can also access the Baker Gulch trailhead right from the campground.
