Coy Flat Overview

Coy Flat Campground has 19 campsites (including 1 double site) and is located a few miles from the Tule River in the Sequoia National Forest. Campers can also hit the trail and hike through nearby giant sequoia groves.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 24 feet). Our favorites sits are 16-20. Most of the sites don’t have very level areas for pitching a tent. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include potable water and vault toilets.

Coy Flat – Area Recreation and Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, hunting, OHV riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Other campgrounds in the area include Belknap, Wishon, Quaking Aspen, Redwood Meadow and Holey Meadow.
