Crossroads Campground has 26 single-family campsites and is located on the banks of the Colorado River about 9 miles south of the Parker Dam on the California side of the river. It’s a very popular campground from Fall through late Spring and is a great base camp to enjoy boating, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming and other water sports.
Campsites 10-19 are waterfront and most have shade. A few others (off water) with shade include 4, 5 and 9.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. All sites are dry (no water), but one vault toilet is available. Firewood is also available for purchase from the camp host.
In addition to the water sports, visitors can enjoy hiking, biking, bird watching, picnicking, rock-hounding, and wildlife viewing. The Copper Basin Dunes and Crossroads Off-Highway Vehicle Open Areas is also nearby. The Rock House Visitor Center also has a free boat launch.
You might also like Buckskin Mountain State Park or River Island State Park. Both are nearby on AZ side of river. Mayflower Regional Park is also down by Blythe (CA side).
