Crystal Springs – Toiyabe National Forest Overview
Crystal Springs is a peaceful little campground located in the Toiyabe National Forest and near the West Fork of the Carson River. There are 19 single-family campsites that can accommodate tents, and small trailers/RVs. All sites are first-come, first-serve.
Amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. Each site also has a table, food storage locker, fire ring and grate. Campsites 4, 6 and 11 are parallel parking and campsite 13 is the only pull thru.
Crystal Springs – Toiyabe National Forest Area Recreation
The area is popular for fishing, hiking, ATVing, picnicking and mountain biking. Wildlife viewing is also great in the area.
Other campgrounds in the area include Grover Hot Springs State Park, Kit Carson, Turtle Rock Park, Markleeville, and Indian Creek.
