Doran Park Overview
Doran Park Campground has 143 campsites and is located on a peninsula between Bodega Bay and the Pacific Ocean. A 2-mile long sandy beach is also just across the street. Some campsites have great views of the water.
There are 5 camping areas including Shell (1-27), Gull (28-54), Co e (55-81), Jetty (82-128) and Miwok Tent (Sites A to O and one hike/bike site). Campsites 1 to 128 can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. The Miwok tent camping area are for tents only with vehicle parking in a lot next to the sites. Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers ($) and an RV dump station. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring, grate and paved parking pad. A boat launch ramp, trailer lot and fish cleaning station are also located next to the canmpground. Cell service is good in the area.
Doran Park – Area Recreation
Sonoma County Regional Park includes a beautiful (2 mile long) sandy beach, picnic area, hiking and biking trails, wetlands and Doran campground. There are many outdoor recreational activities including water sports, boating, swimming, canoeing/kayaking, beachcombing, and wildlife viewing.
Bodega Dunes Campground is another option and is located about 4.5 miles north on Highway 1.

We camp at Doran 3 to 4 times a year and always enjoy our stay. Site #104 out on the jetty is the best in the park with an unobstructed view of the bay. Great place for kayaking, crabbing or just hanging out at the beach.

Yes there are hiker/biker campsites at Doran Beach Campgrounds.
