Emigrant Campground has 10 (tent-only) first-come, first-serve campsites and is located at 2,100 feet in Death Valley National Park. It is open year round. The campground has great views of the Cottonwood Mountains which is a part of the Panamint Range.
Campground amenities include potable drinking water and vault toilets. However, there is a bathroom with flush toilets about 270 feet down a dirt trail just outside the campground. Each campsite also has a table.
Outdoor recreation in the area includes stargazing, hiking, biking, picnicking, OHVing and wildlife viewing.
Stovepipe Wells is the nearest ‘developed’ campground.
