Forbes Creek Overview

Forbes Creek Group Campground Madrone Camp Area 7

Forbes Creek Group Campground has 2 group sites and is located on the southeast shore of Sugar Pine Reservoir.

The 2 group campsites can accommodate up to 50 people and 18 vehicles. Each site Laos has a central cooking/picnic area, large campfire circle and multiple tables. Amenities include potable (drinking) water (spigot), vault toilets, trash collection and a dump station.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, fishing, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, OHV trail riding, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Other campgrounds in the area include Giant Gap, Shirttail Creek and Big Reservoir.
