Furnace Creek Campground is located in Death Valley National Park at 190 feet below sea level and has 136 campsites (18 with full hookups). Group camping is also available and there are several ‘tent only’ campsites.

The newly remodeled campground has drinking water, flush toilets, a dump station (with RV water fill up) and full hookup RV sites.  Several sites have full hookups including 39, 41, 43, 45, 47, 49, 50, 51, 52, 53, 67, 68, 69, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76 and 77. Sites 100 to 150 are drive in/walk in tent sites. Five group sites are also available (40 people / 10 vehicle capacity). Cell service is fair in the area.

Furnace Creek campground can be reserved for arrivals October 15 through April 15, and is first-come first-served for arrival during the other dates of the year. Generators are allowed from 7am to 7pm.

This is a great base camp to enjoy and explore the park in the fall, winter and spring. Just mind those 120+ degree temps in the summer!
